Dadi Vank Monastery

Dadivank Monastery (Armenian: Դադիվանք) is an ancient Armenian monastic complex located in a picturesque mountain valley at an altitude of approximately 1,300 meters above sea level. It is an outstanding example of medieval Armenian architecture and an important spiritual center. Dadivank is: a World Heritage Site reflecting the centuries-old history of Armenian architecture; a center for the preservation of medieval fresco painting and stone carving; a place of pilgrimage and spiritual attraction; an example of the harmonious blend of architecture and natural landscape. Today, Dadivank remains a functioning monastery and an important cultural tourism destination, attracting history and architecture enthusiasts.
