Figurine of Vazgen I (hand-painted)

The statuette is dedicated to Vazgen I (secular name Levon Abramovich Palchyan, 1908–1994), Catholicos of All Armenians, an outstanding spiritual leader, church reformer, and national figure who headed the Armenian Apostolic Church from 1955 to 1994. His ministry spanned the difficult period of the Soviet era and the pivotal years of Armenia's independence. The statuette embodies the image of a pastor who managed to preserve and strengthen church life, revive spiritual traditions, and become a moral authority for the entire Armenian people.
