Haghpat Church: A Pearl of Armenian Medieval Architecture
The Haghpat Monastery Complex (Armenian: Հաղպատ) is an outstanding monument of Armenian architecture from the 10th to 13th centuries, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (2000). It is located in the village of the same name in Armenia's Lori Province, in the picturesque valley of the Debed River, on a high plateau surrounded by mountain ranges.
